McKenna Britton is a fourth year undergraduate student pursuing a B.A. in History and English, with a concentration in Editing, Writing and Media. Britton became involved with the Art on Campus Initiative in 2016. She has previously conducted research on the American Expatriate Literary Tradition, a research project that helped her find her passion for American literature and American authors. She hopes to pursue this passion through her graduate studies; her plan is to pursue a graduate degree in American Studies and Literature.
Beyond the Art on Campus Initiative, Britton is involved in a variety of organizations on campus, including: Her Campus FSU, First Book FSU, The Owl, UROP, SCURC, and Lady Spirithunters. She is the Editor-in-Chief of The Owl, FSU’s Undergraduate Research Journal, and is researching alongside Dr. Ronald Doel of the History Department. She loves to play basketball, read books, drink coffee, and laugh at puns.
